Based in the United Kingdom ????????, Phoenix Studios is a sound production studio involved in the creation of music and sound for film, broadcast and all other platforms.
Phoenix Studio is working in partnership with Slate It Media, composing and producing the sound tracks for their films, such as in Sinful (2021), Cry No More (2022), and Witches Light.
Shelley Lee Aldred and Stuart Comins are the principle creative team at Phoenix Studios. Shelley and Staurt have worked together for many years in a variety of fields and disciplines, including film, musical composition, performance, recording, education, sound engineering, and production.
Running With Scissors Band
Sheeley and Stuart also perform as Running With Scissors Band, the ‘in house’ band of Phoenix Studios. They have produced two (2) albums thus far.
Shelley Lee Aldred
Shelley Lee Aldred (G Mus, PGCE) is a composer, arranger, and performer at Phoenix Studios. She has been commissioned to write for theatre, radio, and live performances. Shelley is a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist—trained in piano, strings, and woodwinds.
Shelley also works as a freelance teacher of piano, woodwind and composition. Shelley was the Musical Director of Unity Voices, a ladies choir based in Marsden before moving to Anglesey.
Stuart Comins
Stuart Comins has years of experience as a writer, arranger, performer, producer, and sound engineer. He is a guitarist and vocalist.
Aside from his work with Phoenix Studios, Stuart ran Qwax Recording Studio in Huddersfield and worked with many local bands and musicians in producing their records.
